We like to think of Conestoga as an investment — in your happiness. For a mere $35 (even less if you register early), you can spend three days in the company of other folks who like the same things you do: books, games, costumes, music, and, of course, The Play.

Register to join the fun. You can pay by check or credit card with our new online registration system. We think it should make things easier. Please let us know how you like it.

And don’t forget the Golden Ticket, a great value at $80 which includes:

  • Three day pass to all convention events
  • Gala Dinner with Diana Gabaldon Friday, July 25th
  • Special Signing Event for Golden Ticket Holders
  • A commemorative tote

Register early. There are only 50 Golden Tickets left.

Hi

What’s the difference between the Earlybird Weekend tickets and the Adult Weekend tickets, other than price? They both exlude the Gala Dinner so I wanted to know before ordering.
Thanks!

Thanks!

Earlybird Weekend tickets have a price good from now through June 1st. After June 1st, the price goes up. You should only be able to choose the “earlybird” pricing for right now.

Thanks!

Are there any Golden Tickets left? How much are they? Does the $35 also include dinner with Diana Gabaldon?

Hey

What exactly is the times that the convention runs this year. Do we have to stay at the hotel to attend? And is there a dresscode for this convention?

Thanks for your question.

The convention starts at noon on Friday, with the opening of the dealer’s room and Art room. Panels start at 2pm. We encourage you to stay at the convention hotel, as there are a lot of activities in the evening (and, the room nights help us offset the cost of the space).

Our dress code is basically, “wear some.” We’ll have lots of folks in jeans and t-shirts, some in hall costumes and a few in funny hats. If you are a costumer, you can even enter the masquerade.

Here’s an explanation of SF conventions for first timers to help you get a sense of what goes on: http://www.sftulsa.org/conestoga/archive/2007/programming/whats-a-con/

Any other questions, just let me know.
