Chris interviews Lori Ensign, president of Safari Sanctuary.

Lemur incident (name is Zabu)

How it started? rescued big cats, wolves

Animals cannot be released back into the wild.

Wolves were poisoned with arsenic. Does have security in place now. $1500 reward.

Liger - lion (m)/tiger(f) hybrid. weighs 1000 lbs.

Wanted to walk us through a day. It’s a lot of keepup. Has 12 1/2 acres. 5000lbs raw meat per month.

The albino raccoons name is Paris Hillcoon.

volunteers can work as young as 12.

Volunteers help prepare food.

Qualities: must be an animal lover, not afraid to get dirty.

tropical animals go inside.

best turnaround story: Jaguar was very vicious. After 2 years very calm, eat out of hands.
